My name is Annette Franck and this is my story
As a first-time mother of twins the two existing
solutions for formula feeding made me desperate: formula
powder or a so-called 'ready-mixed formula' which was poured
into sterile bottles and heated.
We found our own solution, which saved us a lot of work and
gave us the flexibility we needed, particularly at night,
when away from home, with baby sitters, etc.
The method ensures correct temperature of the meal, correct
mixing ratio and safe hygiene. Safe and easy for the baby
and the parents.
However, we still had to prepare the concentrate, do all the
cleaning and disinfection of bottles and we were depending on access to refrigerator. I have done extensive research on
how this method can become a consumer product which parents
and children will benefit from. A disposable plastic bottle
saves parents from cleaning and disinfecting bottles. A
sterile concentrate can be stored at room temperature,
just like the existing solution with the 'bric'. In this way
you don't need access to refrigerator.
I call the concept 'Formula III', a 3rd generation solution
of formula feeding.
However, when I introduce the concept to formula
manufactures I am told that parents as well as professional
care takers don't find it troublesome to prepare bottle
meals in the old fashion ways ...??
That's why I need
your opinion!
Are we really the only parents who:
Find the work and the waiting time stressful when our
babies needed feeding?
Want to heat the bottle to the correct temperature fast and
safely?
Want to obtain independence from kitchen facilities, micro
wave ovens, etc.?
Need ensured and safe hygiene?
Need ensured and correct mixing ratio?
Do not have the energy to wash and sterilise bottles?
Find it tedious to pack so much stuff when leaving home?
Find it unsafe and tedious to carefully instruct baby
sitters?
